I am a real mixed bag. Raw, home cooked, processed, organic but i rarely eat home grown veg as i dont have a garden at present and i am also a pants gardner. However my rescent victory is keeping 3 out of 4 supermarket reduced growing herb pots alive. I have really tried to kill them buy not watering but these guys are tough

I eat a lot of raw vegetables, and don't buy the sheeses and other substitutes (apart from soy mince, occasionaly). I don't really approve of the whole eating fake bacon, chickn, salmon etc trend - how can you eat something that even vaguely resembles a product which is originally resembles the flesh of an animal? It is strange. How can one still like the taste and yet hate the 'idea' of eating meat?

I juice, drink smoothies, I also cook and experiment a lot. I try to use veggies as a substitute for something. For example I use cream butternut squash for brown rice risotto. my food is not organic (because it's very expensive), not raw and not sold as "specialy for vegans" - but it's vegan nonetheless. i eat alot of grains (buckwheet, spaghetti, rice, bread...) and legume (lentils, chickpeas, green beans...). some vegies i usually eat raw (tomatoes, cuckunbers, peppers...) ans others fried/baked/coocked (pumpkin, potatoe, eggpant...). and than i have some junk of course (potatoe chips, popcorn, chocolate, xalva...) and fruit (banana, pears, watermelon...). i think most vegans around here do the same.

I am not that bothered about food to tell the truth..I eat fresh fruit and veges, rice and other grains, but I don't worry about my diet too much as I have total faith in the knowledge that man's natural diet is a frigivorous one and I also believe that we require a lot less food than most people consume. I am healthy, never been overweight, had four healthy children and everyone says I look 10 years younger than my age! If you look at the animals they are not always obsessing about food and can live quite happily on just enough.
