FINAL BLOG POST ~ Butterflies Katz leaving social media

Final Blog Post

October 6th, 2017 marks my 60th birthday, and much more important, it's my 39th Veganniversary ... and the retirement of my blog. The blog will remain online as it includes a lot of useful information and some may find it through web searches. It's the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter of my life; one that excludes most social media (I am still on Twitter as Animal Rights Vegan  -- Facebook unjustly disabled my account/s - and that is the main reason I had to stop blogging.) I would like to part with the words that no one can ever truthfully say that vegans can't live long healthy lives, as my life is living proof of that myth. All I want from any human on the face of this planet is that they stop their demand of animals to be exploited and assaulted violently on their behalf. There is no necessity for any product or practice that was derived from exploiting and harming feeling beings. Therefor, it is unjust to use animals for human greed and wants. Live vegan and be on the right side of history. Nonviolence is the way forward; and that includes everyone; humans and other animals.

  1. You are a wonderful soul, Butterflies Katz, and it sure came as a shock for me to read about your leaving social media because we met through social media. Had it not been the case, I would have never learnt about your fights, about your dreams, about your hopes and about your amazing vegan blogspot. But I know that you can decide best about what to do from here. I would like to say that you are an inspiration to us all, and I love you.

    Kisses and hugs,

  2. Dear Butterflies, thank you for all you have done for veganism. You have been an inspiration to me. As you may recall, you were the trigger to us making our guest house completely vegan, four years ago. I wish you well in all you do in the future and will miss your thought provoking words on social media and your blog posts. Vanessa Lackford, Cornwall, UK. X

  4. Dearest Butterflies, I AGREE with you wholeheartedly, that you definitely ARE a living proof about the essence and wonder of being vegan, and you do completely validate your blogging, Butterflies, by your personal life-experience as an example, that you dare to share. I look to you in the hopes of spreading more compassion, and dedicate this music to YOU, Butterflies, in a melody that I composed for the beautiful musical instrument, the harp, and by having being inspired by your devotion! Please enjoy, comment on it, if you like, and see the subtitles of the lyrics represented in the translation of the text (By Lazar Brody-with his permission) into English, which can be activated by adjusting your Settings, and of course, you might choose to replay it, since it's only half-a-minute long, and it will be over, almost before you know it! Good news is that it shouldn't take up too much of your time to listen to it, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fAxblFe50Q Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for your consideration and kind response!
    Blessings, Janine
